Murder Mystery + Meal (26+27 October 2017)
This drama is presented as a radio play, with the radio actors in front of microphones, and members of the company creating live sound effects. The actors perform some scenes, at the end of which shots ring out as one of the cast is murdered… The audience get a chance to interrogate the actors to deduce the guilty one(s).
The radio play takes place in 1954, in and around Thornbury Manor, home of the Maltravers family. If you yourselves would like to dress up in period costume (more or less) that would be delightful and add to the atmosphere!

Readings / auditions
In the Stables, behind Princes Hall – readings and auditions have previously been held for this performance.
The cast has already been selected for this production.
Seating is ‘early-bird’ (ie unmarked) – if you have a particular need (eg require an aisle seat), please let us know when purchasing your tickets.
Note re. future shows
Readings / auditions are held (usually 7.30-10pm) at the Stables, behind Princes Hall.
All are welcome. If a part is offered and accepted, the actor/actress will need to join Clevedon Players – hopefully forever but at least for the current year. The cast will need to commit to being available for all of the live week plus for rehearsals in the preceding weeks.
Rehearsal nights are usually 7.30-10pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays – but you may not be needed every time.
Other Events for the Future include:
More open play readings at 7.30pm at the Stables, later in the year.
Our next production will be “A Bunch of Amateurs” 12-14 April 2018.
Watch this space for dates of more open readings to consider our future plays.
Readings are in the Stables, behind Princes Hall (BS21 7SZ).
