About Clevedon Players
We are an enthusiastic group of amateur actors who endeavour to put on three plays each year at the Princes Hall in Clevedon.
A club like this requires a number of specialities – not only actors – so, if you are interested in acting, producing scenery or props, wardrobe, sound and lighting or even producing plays then we would be happy to hear from you. Clevedon Players have been in existence since 1962 and we still have some of our original members! We are also interested in getting younger people into the group. One of the beauties of the theatre is that it is an activity that the whole family can get involved in. It helps to build self-confidence and above all, it is great fun.
We are a very welcoming group and are always keen to encourage new members — if interested, please click the button below or just turn up at the Salthouse Pub on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at our social evening.
We also meet at the Stables, behind Princes Hall theatre, Princes Rd, Clevedon BS21 7SZ on our rehearsal nights, usually 10-12 weeks before a show goes live, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings - but you may not be needed at every rehearsal.
